O you who believe! Take not as allies those who take your religion as mockery and fun. Quran 5:57

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Quran: Chapter 6, La Yuhibbu’, Sura: 5 ‘Al- Maidah’ ‘The Table spread with food’, Verse: 56- 57

Verse 56: And who so ever takes Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, as friends (protectors), then the group of Allah will be victorious.

Verse 57: O you who believe! Take not as, Auliya, allies those who take your religion as mockery and fun, from among those who received the Scripture before you, and nor from among the disbelievers; and fear Allah if you indeed are true believers.

Notes by samia2010oct: Allah and His Messenger, the last prophet Muhammad PBUH, ordered believers not to be friend and allies of those people who make fun and mockery of their religion. In a gathering if religion of Allah is made fun of and mocked at, believers should immediately leave such a gathering till the mockery stops. Sometimes one has such colleagues whom one has to meet by compulsion of the job one is doing, so it is better for the believer to leave the gathering for a while till the subject changes and then start job from where it was left.

It is Big Sin, Gunaah e Kabira, for a believer of Allah to talk carelessly in a funny way or mock or talk jokingly about his own religion. For Big Sins there is the punishment of unbearable Blazing Hell Fire.
