Wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. Quran 4:32

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Quran: Chapter 5 ‘Wal Muhsanaat’, Sura: 4 ‘An-Nisa’ ‘The Women’,

Verse 32: And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and likewise) for women there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allah of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is ever knower of everything.

Notes by samia2010oct: One must do the best he/ she can, using all abilities and resources which Allah has given him/ her. After doing his/ her best if some people are still doing better than him/ her in life then he/ she must ask Allah in supplications but must never ever feel jealous of those doing better. Jealousy is strictly forbidden. It is Big Sin to feel jealous of others. For jealousy is the punishment of unbearable burning of whole body by Unending Fire.

One must have full belief in Allah that whatever one does he/ she will have reward of it from Allah. The reward may be in some other way if it is not the way one expects it to be. One must pray and ask for more from Allah in supplications and while doing so one must keep good manners when dealing with people whom Allah has given more than him/ her.
